Widus Philippines Inc.’s 12-billion worth mountain resort proposal for New Clark City is about to come to life in Capas, Tarlac, as the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) begins the Swiss challenge.

The firm encourages private sectors to participate in the Swiss challenge. In a notice last Thursday, the firm states, “The BCDA invites all interested private sector proponents or participants to participate in a competitive challenge for the long-term lease of a 450-hectare parcel of the New Clark City for a proposed luxury mountain resort development.”

The proposal by Widus Philippines includes a five-star hotel, a championship golf course, and a clubhouse. This plan is for the first phase.

Swiss challenge is about the private sectors giving competitive offers while the original proponent can offer an alternative proposal.

Those firms that are interested to participate in the Swiss challenge may buy the Terms of Reference (TOR) for 300, 000 pesos, non-refundable, at the BCDA Clark Office. You may also purchase the TOR through their website at www.bcda.gov.ph/bids.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the extension office on July 11, 2019 for the Swiss challenge, organized by BCDA.

All important requirements including eligibility financial documents are required to be submitted on or before August 8, 2019 at the office.

The New Clark City is a 9,450-hectare city, foreseen to be the country’s pioneering environment-friendly metropolis, a great alternative to Manila’s busy lifestyle.

The first phase for the New Clark City is an on-going development.
